Lead the charge… install a bat­tery The Solar Vic­to­ria inter­est free bat­tery loan has been designed to reduce the upfront cost of installing a bat­tery, with repay­ments made over a four-year peri­od. There are 4,500 loans of up to $8,800 avail­able in 2023 – 24.

Save with the sun. It’s that sim­ple. The Solar Homes Pro­gram is help­ing eli­gi­ble Vic­to­ri­an house­holds to take charge of their pow­er bills by pro­vid­ing a rebate of up to $1,400 for solar pan­el (PV) sys­tems for own­er occu­pied properties.

Want to add an inter­est-free loan? To fur­ther reduce costs, own­er-occu­piers can apply for an inter­est-free loan, for an amount equiv­a­lent to their rebate amount. An inter­est-free loan, match­ing the rebate amount, is also avail­able for most solar pan­el (PV) applications.

The rebate is designed to low­er the upfront cost of replac­ing old sys­tems with ener­gy-effi­cient solar hot water sys­tems, reduc­ing your ener­gy bills and car­bon foot­print. In 2023 – 24, rebates of up to $1,000 are avail­able, help­ing house­holds switch to green­er, more cost-effec­tive solutions.

Unlock sav­ings with STCs and VEECS for solar hot water! Small-scale Tech­nol­o­gy Cer­tifi­cates (STCs) and Vic­to­ri­an Ener­gy Effi­cien­cy Cer­tifi­cates (VEECS) pro­vide finan­cial incen­tives to make ener­gy-effi­cient upgrades more afford­able. By installing a solar hot water sys­tem, you can earn STCs and VEECS, which can be trad­ed to reduce the cost of your instal­la­tion. These pro­grams sup­port house­holds in low­er­ing ener­gy con­sump­tion and cut­ting down emis­sions while sav­ing mon­ey on ener­gy bills.
